• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
6 a* E& Z) m' Z# r% r  J+ l• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
+ h& N- i; g* p- y, h9 Udistributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
6 L; X# H" F9 X" V! }• Preserves materials.
• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
$ d0 w1 Z' W' j( J# g1 U; Z• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
$ U$ U3 l  _; v• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
1 ?5 q* a  W& s8 Q4 b% R• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
8 ~" B) s7 d3 ?# L# G• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
* a( ?! M( Q6 f0 k( h• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
* r6 P- Y2 _7 T8 F; Q4 A• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
7 L8 z, K" e+ p6 l3 P3 \• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
' K3 _+ Q3 D% f/ f• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
9 E! a( N+ a  E: }! {* e• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
% s- [. h+ {4 {$ v  J• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
" w6 m% e5 I1 {& Y• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
7 p' I; T1 h5 p% F• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
% ^  x8 ]! K/ o, S, X! S• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
% A  l$ L6 T: b: O% ]• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
& q, ~: S/ w* \• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
& v# P% q2 G- t  o% v• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
9 m" S) W3 x2 N! F9 c• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
8 }. r6 d3 R: p6 {9 Z• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.

) m. K6 R4 U6 k/ F) fEducation / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
; b* Z3 i' Q" P' @% }6 q$ Z; f- b' H• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
" G) W- ~; r% R! n- E7 h8 h• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
) N. V+ L0 k7 [; o7 d" o6 X• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
