Job Duties / Responsibilities
• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
" {7 ]  I# |0 j• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
5 K0 f: [, J& c• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
5 P3 o' C' r& Adistributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
' L; }; n& b/ l* U2 Eplace (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
• Preserves materials.
• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
, t6 R% o+ d, W( A• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
# G& r) b( j8 b/ v. @3 [' S• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
% }! B  h9 j" l6 U1 _# E+ b• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
2 D8 X1 v# E; h• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
5 e/ K" r1 ?: G+ a, u; J, G• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
) b  ~8 G5 L) Z& c* Z, E+ B  m• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
4 _( l$ `0 o8 {& X, k. X  M• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
& s, N2 x$ n% k1 V  U• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
" [9 B$ l; T6 _. K" E3 |• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
% ]+ h6 G# C& `( w3 d6 n: W# {• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
6 [7 V0 V+ F3 ~- P4 s7 t• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
; u; ^: v3 h8 d  j+ u• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
3 A% ^: K  F3 V' M$ s• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment

/ _( S6 z4 v) |: V' t• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
/ k% v! {0 K7 ^• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

Education / Experience
9 g& V7 ^7 B( D4 J. x• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
$ d$ x' }  h# T( C" v# c- ~' u0 m' s• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
