We are seeking an organized self starter to support plant and field maintenance for assigned production equipment. Work shifts available are a 5-2 or 4-3 rotation (depending on the individual's preference). On-call duties are covered on a rotational basis.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
# N% b( p6 _2 `8 J• Perform routine day to day and emergency maintenance activities on electrical equipment;
$ |: A/ [' t$ C5 U# e7 }• Provide troubleshooting and problem solving support on equipment in a timely manner;
• Work individually or together with other skilled trades on planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs;
7 r9 q& r8 H' n6 j% c' a7 p' j• Work with engineering and construction groups on the design, construction, and commissioning phases of new projects;
& n8 H2 O6 i3 _! C1 j+ `• Assist in the planning, execution, and start up phases of area turnaround activities;
+ Y. v5 j, r/ Z% r9 s0 A• Assist with the development of short and long term maintenance strategies and plans;
• Strive to keep current on emerging technologies;
• Ensure all electrical drawings are kept up to date, reflecting changes made in the field;
• Ensure strong commitment to safety and environment on all work performed;
! O. j( {7 Y1 |+ k! J! q4 F3 p• Ensure industry and corporate standards are followed on all installations;
" d. ~! Z7 ~' g% `. n, G. W* f• Participate in the Process Safety Management programs in the areas of HAZOP, Equipment Integrity, Risk Management, Operating Procedures, Management of Change, and Incident Investigation;

Education / Experience
1 C6 ~& `$ W8 T0 e# w. D  x• Minimum of 5 years oil and gas electrical maintenance experience;
# b% i7 h) A  F: W, r) G3 k. Y• Journeyman Electrical Tradesperson certification;
# A/ r* W- m% N4 T( @• Dedicated team player;
! l( n# {5 B- H3 k6 i• Strong problem solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
• Good PC knowledge.

我在国内的工厂里做了十几年的电气工程师，在大学读的是电机专业。（哈尔滨电工学院电机专业，79届）。2006年8月份考了个电工证。在多伦多的一家工厂做了一年半的设备维护工作。去年8月至今，在Edmonton西边的一家工厂做电工。
