Part of the Alberta Children's Hospital is closed because of an outbreak of the H1N1 virus.

Health authorities confirm there is a cluster of flu cases at the hospital. They now confirm there are three cases, one staff member and two children.The closed area is Unit 3 on the third floor. This unit treats children with kidney and neurological problems.

Signs have been posted outside the unit to warn visitors and other patients of the infection prevention measures.& [/ A+ j) w: {, ]: n, l

Alberta continues to record new cases of the H1N1 virus. There have now been over 1100 cases in Alberta and two deaths. |
