A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.7 W7 C r/ y: m! j

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors
% B+ G, Q5 Y& S: W0 n2 u• Answer multi line telephone system
' Q8 B: w" D( [( S• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
! E4 M& p/ x( p. ^( m, d9 @4 a• Arrange courier services for all departments2 O3 t, P5 J. B# W. X
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers/ j% k) i0 x& S

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail' f0 a8 [6 z* x, D4 R4 `1 z
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries* f& g8 Y* c+ w! t
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
; r/ g6 i, j0 l5 S- I* @• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration

• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures

• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset

• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion
