A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.+ o6 M! d4 v! O. • Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors" e% x# p3 A1 E1 d9 w( h+ g m
• Answer multi line telephone system- y3 ~' \9 t6 B
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries- B# |, B; r: P# _! `/ J& x
• Arrange courier services for all departments% P! y; ]% Z0 ?& H
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers. [9 c0 I! i4 H' G

Administration
: s( V: E. U6 J• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
- k) `& o4 h4 Q% ~- J) ^/ @9 O• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries) g% ], ?! s' p4 M: x
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
) t, g: v" t0 H/ S& C1 B• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration1 h6 U+ Z' p" Z' t8 s) Q
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers ! ^* N$ [9 a9 T3 t0 Q& m
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution

• Assemble and forward information packets as requested# ?: Z4 q7 | S$ k2 s

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training- @+ p0 d5 f- D( Z

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

Qualifications:, E( d- X, g- M0 m6 i* H; Q# C

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures6 s0 l2 T* T4 L: `+ E) Q
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.& K6 T3 Z% {* M6 Z. [; f
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
