The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.# G( {5 k- x5 x

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors$ R5 I+ Q7 n8 d1 p8 s
• Answer multi line telephone system
$ M5 `! C) w; {! g" m: m• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
+ Q8 ?) E) |" A0 s% W+ Z• Arrange courier services for all departments
* G! M3 r/ M+ u+ Y0 A) A• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers! Z5 J" f B5 N2 F

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail) E) V6 S s) M9 |5 c0 ]( E
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries) @9 I. `1 |! [* G C) F {! O7 r
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency O K' `2 z( J( o1 C
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration/ \. y" I+ E, G8 i8 e
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
H' Q! v ]! @6 ?• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution& o$ @& A( y0 o& D
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments ' M3 y' w8 h# A' }7 C$ m
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training7 v- D. |! y* h1 Y' n
• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

Qualifications:
1 X' S6 g' D& U% r2 l
8 @: j! @; @/ y• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures7 \4 V0 s( {" p# y% z( u" q
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
a9 T2 K8 v0 ]+ }' ]• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
