A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors

! q) s# c2 O4 P$ }. L• Arrange courier services for all departments
' `+ P3 F: i; q5 Q6 }+ D/ d• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail% ^, c$ N% v( x' X2 R% G
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries3 ?* j. B+ K7 J/ r2 p( o
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency ( F0 E$ ]8 ]' @: h: s- w
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration+ V/ M+ n) @5 o3 g
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers 5 K6 F/ s& ?9 ^+ I& f" \- }
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution* `! ?6 X- S2 c* ?" Q
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments ( |+ F c/ ^$ i- b4 C
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested! u5 y' I: V z' E, A

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training0 U0 `4 Y' i) |! R
• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

Qualifications:4 m; V+ m4 a( _
% E# ?' ]" I( l. p$ `• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
0 ?* o( T7 {' r- J/ V3 h% M* m• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.: V, }, @2 S2 \# R
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset

• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion
