A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.( P0 j- b& A, U

Reception

• Answer multi line telephone system2 C5 t, P: f; p
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail1 Z$ o1 t0 C( e9 L$ X
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries/ I& ^% a6 z! ~3 Q" w- [
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
! L; l( f. g( B3 U+ r• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
$ m* v7 h% D$ P: C1 R/ e• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
3 o) c' S% K: z; P• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
5 A" Z/ A2 j F- g8 i! r• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training. F3 \9 q. r+ `4 H' @ y2 M* r' L

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
4 G* g" f! Z H• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.2 j, y; ~5 q K: c* Q
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset0 G* V. E B5 ^% F2 H+ s
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
