# w3 p7 j# _9 C- v( u! m5 ^Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
: K* g+ q* p1 q- T, d! y•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
- l' W+ B5 V+ z( a& I•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
1 h- y8 u; P& K( U( u( |! J•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
, S+ p$ P+ m5 ?/ f. u•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.

•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
' U6 p0 f- b- o•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
