Key Responsibilities Include:8 o! N1 f- M4 l& U0 a* |
Activity Planning and Daily Activity( B: p ~! l' x6 G
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership. N$ O! z+ _; p% B5 j/ h/ `6 L! C. [
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
: K* g+ q* p1 q- T, d! y• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
- l' W+ B5 V+ z( a& I• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.. J5 L) a0 c; M* x" |7 {" \2 C) q
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.3 I" E& I" C# S3 [
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.) v6 M( E6 L: s6 W5 l

The successful candidate will have:
1 h- y8 u; P& K( U( u( |! J• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting! ?' j) D0 m6 o, B8 h
• Experience with children
, S+ p$ P+ m5 ?/ f. u• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth ( J+ g4 |! P0 d' b1 c s
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.+ f7 ?5 W( {6 w1 x* M
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
/ [1 [, b3 V6 H" M$ t• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources9 [# L9 b2 Q! X- j+ ?1 B1 J8 p
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
' U6 p0 f- b- o• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check : Z2 N+ [& b2 O! }$ r
