Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting up, administrating, and managing very large industrial configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as multi-process servers).
) V# l# X% q, n: A- |! HAdministration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment. & ~6 K8 Q+ M! j. B' x
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes. 7 e# L, a1 ^3 N) _1 \
Maintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
/ e- a$ c$ a$ }( [Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter. / b9 d5 i: M+ q( d
Working with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. 3 f! i, s9 Q& B% I1 z2 g+ D
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. ; M& S Q1 H2 @' U( Q
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications.

; M4 P# D, o+ K* BThorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux - k! h; P: X8 A2 U% J
Strong IBM SAN configurations experience
# [- Y8 {+ `5 A. T& OExperience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. 5 w, Y! \ h7 d# O1 U
Experience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability. 2 i1 L: q r9 K
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
