Position: Facility & Program Manager / Location: Edmonton / Terms: 15 hours a week, part fixed hours and part flex time. Some evening or weekend work may be required / Salary: up to $20/hour depending on qualifications / Closing Date: June 12, 2009.

; w1 z, Z- k3 h7 e" y0 v2 y @+ e. RWe're seeking a highly-motivated, enthusiastic & reliable team player who, working under the direction of the Board of Directors, will oversee community programming & assist with the operation of the community centre.6 n" m/ y6 P; l# {5 y7 n4 Z- b
$ }; o& B$ ~: O& G& zResponsibilities: oversee programming; facility requirements, advertising, registration and instructor contracts; assist with rentals: advertising, bookings, contracts, inspections and customer service; assist with the development and implementation of a marketing plan related to facility operation; direct staff and volunteers in regards to programs & facility operation.

4 y" A' _/ T5 k: e0 D( _PLUS: write reports/recommend policy around facility operation to the board; develop resources & resource material in the area of community programming & facility operation; plan/implement leisure needs assessment, trends research & public consultation, then recommend strategies to provide enhanced customer service. 6 u) u3 P- T( X. Requirements: A post-secondary diploma/degree is preferred. Experience in programming and administration is essential. You have proven analytical and problem solving skills. You must be innovative, creative/work well on your own. ; {4 @- m; N. T/ Q5 V% `7 P
6 x) ]& X0 \3 U" @ {; s7 i+ E* QIn addition: you have a strong customer service orientation, demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, collaborative/communication skills, and the ability to work positively-effectively in a team environment. You are computer literate & knowledgeable in the use of MS Office programs and internet applications.
