Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:

Control panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)

! _5 {: M- A* H- ^! z4 QA "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

. n) g% _* U% |* Q1 r" i- zI am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

你是用XP吗？想想当初你装OS时候是否将支持东方语言的软件包同时安装上呢？
