Housing Program Worker

+ Q4 e+ V0 b" PKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
" h; @! |# c6 e4 l5 G# h3 c! e8 P To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
; Y; S/ L+ M4 ~ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
8 W4 I, ]; f# g" c' z$ s# w/ _ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
3 A; [: P. N0 `) c: X; U To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
