Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

( d1 p: B- o7 ?# g6 N" \# u- Organize focus group(s)
$ f9 n5 C! W. {+ f0 G4 t9 \- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
3 ?7 ?( X7 b8 E6 n- Provide orientation for parents
  d1 p2 j: b; @( M- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

7 c+ t) r+ P  W' }- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
8 j- w1 }9 ~" o" ^5 E- R; `' G- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
5 X3 l: G& R0 |. C# g- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
