Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

4 P- i+ ]- B) v- ^* A- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
/ W% a" u4 o: L$ L# p" R5 M- Provide orientation for parents
7 B$ t+ Z% A, t. _# \6 _: b* y- Find sponsors to enhance program
# h  J! G$ {" _- p- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

1 K1 n3 Q  x" I. G6 e
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
1 k" q; c4 z# i2 J  ?  I- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
6 I" ^) p4 ]1 v4 t( {: [- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
: _* |1 p% B, ~& k; _% n: n9 A- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
