The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.5 {; \ B3 p3 \6 h6 n3 T
7 ?/ X, E; p3 jJob Duties/Responsibilities:: l7 w/ D! M- V0 H+ N6 i+ d- @# a
• Human Resources Management, I q' L: B. z0 d; e8 z
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
8 T3 Q! H4 a8 S v! S0 ^$ a0 l• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
$ g# }5 d" c' G' x$ g• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
+ ]' U- M% V! |* {, P' t• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
7 O) j! T( S! F- T" R• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities' |# O+ g, @$ o/ ^* E0 c
$ o( R8 u7 A0 K. _' J) ?# LProgram Delivery
% I& k1 N$ x% q2 [ k5 ?# I) W• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
) M: M; g/ H$ c8 h• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes6 f8 _/ u3 A0 l% I; k0 {& _# l
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
q' Q. E6 d3 ?0 k• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication! C+ H: w( Z; Q2 f
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
( v) b2 i5 E& N, N5 ~8 P& A& {• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department: x5 g2 \7 D7 e' v0 {9 t
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
8 u3 x# k; ~$ r' T) E1 }• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
% j' x+ E1 V z5 P1 a9 b• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review/ `8 a6 q% w$ V3 V( B6 X
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

" F2 Z* e+ @' Z2 iQualifications:
' L5 h; F- o& }2 q+ O" p
( N1 o3 w. |( g+ F; u; W• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
" S+ P4 w6 z- F! i, p• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities# h+ I& r' P$ h( P
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience! `& N. M8 Y" ]4 X3 r
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations9 q, S8 v6 Y0 N7 v
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population4 ~$ `$ N e$ W9 V
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office5 p* J/ m+ l9 s7 T7 b$ m
• Equivalences will be considered
