emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
. V; G0 y8 y5 m, E% c% qand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

" i9 D7 U: s. ]% JJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 8 y3 D* _( G3 X
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 5 n- P1 e# `% E2 b+ ?
well as the script, magazine and book library. 0 ]0 [3 u* K% f
, K' Z4 T' m+ \' k- Z& [" i1 T7 H
Duties:
+ w. Z3 `+ O% l5 h- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ' R8 G$ d: Y* f. P
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
7 }. O0 T. r! |- Implement a catalogue template for future use ( g4 {9 L) a$ |1 ~
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure t% i2 I9 U: @% P" I- C
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable # t3 |9 h$ p5 T7 L& [# V0 u( f( O

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills % a q2 A8 B% T8 B+ r
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
