summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
7 ]$ p$ g! j" kresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ; X# M' \/ S, K* F* Y
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern * Q: y$ e/ g7 a/ }

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the ( Q3 u2 v) F2 e- Q; @- G: V
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
; E! G6 S2 B6 z9 Twell as the script, magazine and book library. 2 t+ e. v( w6 u6 B9 ?3 Y1 F! Q4 d

Duties: 0 \0 T3 t* l& z* G' K( |4 d/ N( w
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library * H4 n" x8 l5 i. U7 @* I
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
/ L. t- h- P" j# R& m% M+ l+ B/ F- Implement a catalogue template for future use 4 D' u9 q5 |2 A0 A. _
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure . r! J7 k! i6 i& T e
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 1 L! O V5 J* P5 z3 B; A% d$ x

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
) v) x+ z, Q/ |- Strong organizational skills
