$ e' r5 Z& x/ o: E, r' IFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
$ b, n9 t) B3 l- U( L) eemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video 3 y: L$ A l# z' F5 h. q
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a , H# F+ K' j. B
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ; ]4 B( y. X. r# x4 G% f6 d4 r* m
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern / y R2 H; k' m; T( y

Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
+ a) R' a* |* w/ S5 Eassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

3 N! j9 k9 ~, z* ~, C- Assist with research on acquisition grants
2 ~5 h( c* _, M; S* @, s7 z3 V# `# k- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities 4 j" }. O1 |0 B" s3 Z) A
- Assist with equipment maintenance
9 y0 T% u/ p$ m6 b. d8 T7 J- Assist with production logistics for programming events
+ u3 w% U; [* ~2 P/ z/ Z- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff

secondary training

- Length of position: 12 consecutive weeks

- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment $ h N* b$ Q# r. y, J7 }3 @
- Advance organizational and research skills
5 K$ J! }! _& x. E- Advance skills of current trends in technology i.e. HD
