FAVA is currently looking for a Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant to join the FAVA team for 12 weeks in the summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive
0 q) I/ }1 y) DDirector and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
) X, }2 k* y& z9 D: s4 a" D; nassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.
% ?4 s/ A4 F! m. o: Y ) M/ L/ k1 J' r: f4 G+ f
Duties:
7 _) E' A+ |$ R! n# g5 g) J1 K- Assist with research on acquisition grants
% K0 ~; o: K- {6 L1 y8 m- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities
) l7 S. q: ]" f5 W, `7 Q& i3 r- Assist with equipment maintenance 6 d' h3 z$ b' ] C4 q
- Assist with production logistics for programming events
' W. V0 B$ n! V& \+ ?+ h- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
% n8 ~5 E' l( ^" C2 }: ?- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Advance organizational and research skills
