Housing Program Worker

7 o7 T: W  ?  l* a3 H% QKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
  `+ p1 z6 X" m+ B' E To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
; R3 B% B+ l! l3 d% l* | To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
$ M/ k+ ^! d5 U2 k" v To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
2 ]* Z3 s! a6 {( h2 v" z' Z+ V0 _ 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
3 B, e4 @8 B$ U, B3 t- E Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
$ T; G4 e9 \% | Current CPR and First Aid certifications
7 ]: m( L! ~6 u7 E! s, B Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
