Housing Program Worker

% ]. s* H6 y0 s  [5 AKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
: s) g5 k* j" i5 \9 d9 b" D5 _ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

6 f/ E* u7 W8 h% j, O6 aQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
9 c9 e5 t4 t8 @+ `5 z) r: { 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
0 D- Y. L- z5 ~- N Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
