Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
& Q% n4 G1 x8 [- X$ v! l+ ]- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
9 b9 M& \3 y1 d; ^, s# C% ]- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
" p5 t$ n8 R1 @6 x- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

) x' [' @0 c: K. ~/ ?9 k2 dQualifications:
* b3 {8 [1 H; i2 e
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
  e9 B/ g' D+ k4 S/ _- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
+ x4 x, }5 i3 J- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
" X' I- x# {' W: ~- leadership abilities
' V9 H9 [+ s& X9 m8 H- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary

- J7 i0 z/ m. K3 O( ?. G. A4 @% C7 _- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
