- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 2 b# `2 N/ Z {4 {2 ^! j: H
provide services for Chinese community1 j/ l( [ }3 E4 s6 M! b
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
5 E3 q1 h$ |0 ?. K A) w$ l access to mainstream services
/ O4 h f/ p: M8 e7 ?" f- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of # E% J- ?3 X6 i% R* {. A
social services# T t8 G5 a0 y. p: g+ c/ r9 K# i2 X
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
0 ?! k f6 Z2 b8 N- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members9 o8 m }2 p) X/ F- a
- update ASSIST website

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time0 \& |) z7 M, b$ m) {' e
- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of / S6 C+ ^ h% R! P
experience and education $ o* T# v9 n. o0 \6 h: Z
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills% |# l0 {) K* t6 n6 |
- experience in community work and immigrant services% H; r0 d6 P: g7 ?: C+ T
- experience in website update/design
3 E/ M( B$ ?0 _8 V) z- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset) K6 [) K3 w" O/ ]4 h# D
