Responsibilities:
% s8 k0 q' y7 u$ Q-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
: t6 `) V* \2 h! s1 t' T        implementation of the Summer Camps
( `; r4 ?: |6 l) P1 }/ O-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
6 @( k+ U& y+ F/ B$ T4 x-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
' y% g- W  D1 `4 s0 s7 P-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

) A& ]% l. f8 O" aQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
2 A7 e( j8 d1 h5 {7 W! |8 z4 ~-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
. k$ _' @( Z# |( I( R# H5 T-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
' z4 V  g. E8 j  `- z-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
# _0 I8 i; j% h. h-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

/ `" B$ K3 @8 Y4 x, l: Z-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
% s2 s, I) U2 e. V8 }/ A; U) l. P-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
