Responsibilities:
9 c$ D+ k/ O. m. q6 {- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
4 x3 R- r% R) _! ~+ M4 W0 T preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
5 Q# S- I) u+ S% E+ w- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program M2 G* R6 i: X& x& a6 u9 i- H
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
: ~8 T3 \! B* q& C- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program ! N. w: H: e6 F3 z, w
Coordinator0 h9 {% ?& f, x8 u' X/ Y# f4 U
- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
+ y% y: `' u! n- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
6 T7 ^) W- C1 F \+ u" N Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
8 W2 |6 t; t; ?& I% O! s- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children) ?4 H6 r: b( _5 J; \
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills' Y5 E) H9 _: E
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities1 ]( O( y& Q. P9 u/ ?( h$ Z+ k5 `
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
! ^$ e ^& W" u9 f$ Y) Q* c- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
- [% z0 y" ?+ _+ n7 m- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision3 s0 P4 g! v1 n
- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
, w7 E. f6 @; S S% g and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps). e' W# r" t2 E4 c- a' U
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
