- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the 4 m9 O n5 x8 |+ w( `) \
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps, h+ Y5 t. `. e0 H
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program( ~2 d/ k3 n( J9 y& O `
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
V9 m( a1 Q4 O" }$ \. Y0 }4 w- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program G8 q3 T$ o, T5 S
Coordinator
0 c( k/ e7 V/ `- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager* c$ p( ]0 v! d
& q4 J! u" p' J0 R$ AQualifications:7 ?- T0 k1 _6 A/ |% f3 t8 ^" f
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood , V! E i. ]! F
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
0 O/ z5 T$ j" Y! o- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
& w* {6 b& m+ A# O7 x9 p- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
$ A7 y) T9 y" C$ e2 b u2 ]- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
7 j2 }# A0 J; f- ]+ L- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese+ a0 a0 [& a; ?# o5 r
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities& }4 X3 m) i- w r" |
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision& C/ a1 D" s) n$ t u. L: c
- Returning student (should return to school after summer)/ R- s7 N1 ~* m! H
- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
+ i7 d$ {" B3 ? X# w7 Z9 M and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
" D/ }5 T, K& @/ L3 b) r U/ s- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
