Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009# {; G g; ^0 t

- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the ! d) h3 A( O# @2 O1 t1 O( ^5 a! m" n
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps( _" {2 D, X# Y9 P# Y$ }( D
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program( _4 b7 {7 \9 q: p' K1 x2 l
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
) r0 w. |. [" Y( q! e- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program 1 U+ m+ B1 U& H6 Z$ j l6 y6 h% |, F

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

0 w# u" M/ B6 i& p- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
8 c% Y& C! u- ?% ? Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
) y0 I+ \" f, n8 j1 ?- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
0 R9 W$ N' \! g- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills1 A- Z6 T# d6 m3 D+ O" ^
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities" d5 ~5 |6 G4 Q1 _6 X; N; }
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
4 G& e2 e0 B- U) w+ }: z: Z- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities+ ~) C7 ?- [ q9 d" ~% \
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
' t6 `+ w; p i- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) + T: Q) Z" l/ f
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)( t9 [9 {" A* o# a2 k8 k
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009$ {: B; v$ | O2 l" z$ `" c

Salary
