/ O2 i1 `7 l0 a7 V; B6 k# P" r5 sPosition: Home Visitation Coordinator / Terms: Permanent Full-Time, 35 hrs. week / Start Date: ASAP / Salary Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour + Benefits such as Health & Welfare Trust Fund, WCB coverage, mileage / Probation Period: 3 months / Application Deadline: 04.17.09 or until suitable candidate is found.

( d3 g4 {( i; P' h+ AAbstract: Mill Woods Family Resource Centre Society offers a long-term Home Visitation Program that provides weekly in-home support to families with children under the age of 5 and those with pre-natal needs. The Coordinator will be responsible for: day to day operation of program; supervision of 4 Family Home Visitors; and provision of some frontline service.

( l$ g. r4 [& z- Z+ z1 l8 \, s  M. iDesired education, experience/skills: a minimum of a 4 year degree in a related human services field; administrative & supervisory experience/working in partnership with colleagues & other service providers; 3 years experience working with families/children, including those who are marginalized and/or culturally diverse; solid knowledge of child development and family dynamics; knowledge in maternal and infant health and knowledge in prevention of child abuse and neglect.

6 _; ~# C4 F0 H7 f# eIn addition: experience providing support to families in their homes is desired; familiar with community resources to facilitate appropriate referrals; Team player; computer literate; proficient verbal/written English; experience parenting own children an asset.

% I0 Z9 V  K( h  q" Q, |PLUS: Valid Police & Alberta Children's Services Intervention Check; willing to work flexible schedule - daytime, evenings and weekends; access to a reliable vehicle; available for one-time travel to the United States for training.
