Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

5 f( R1 h, o! h6 A$ K4 Q! Y6 s5 n- Organize focus group(s)
) M& {* a2 ]: O) C1 B( I9 v- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
( k* D( Y/ s4 n% G# E* m- t- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
9 p& X: _5 s- g- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
7 Z: i& d& |9 H9 ~, m9 Y; Z3 a0 z1 O- Prepare final report for funding agency
) w- G. R- W! T3 ?
Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
& r  u2 q5 ^- A- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
' J' l9 y# k+ p/ d7 D7 A  Y- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
