2 |+ m. M/ R! q7 b4 ?Responsibilities:
1 ]. h9 M" }4 l5 `6 D5 U- Organize focus group(s)
" m0 g# h: `! F. k3 V- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
% Z# b6 r% ^3 g! }- Z: k8 e% D- Recruit children for summer program
" v# T6 e" D) x/ s% c- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

) ^9 A3 K8 B* K" W$ VQualifications:
5 N/ N1 m. e+ l' P; X
' }& o) [% E& d- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
1 v# W  Y3 C. r/ W' A9 ~- communication skills
  _6 X* W4 o) G0 U- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
/ P# f) L9 S0 l; o; b7 L# L- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
2 n4 j9 K$ U2 D5 j3 J8 U: g  W- good computer skills
6 S( i" N, J- [5 y- i; C* E8 l  a, `- leadership abilities
5 V! D0 q; S! J- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
