How to avoid too much chips left in panel box after your drill a hole ?" T, J- `3 ^- |# Q
+ G- }0 h3 b3 Y+ G3 D1. If you are going to drill a hole on top of a box, use some paper to cover the bottom of the box so that you can easily remove the paper with chips in it;
0 i4 n# T' I" x r6 E( M2 Z' l2. Make sure you cover all equipments (breakers, contacts, relays, fuses, Etc)in the box before you drill holes;
n3 m8 ]% }# N( w3. Use a paint brush to collect all debris (one of the best tools that is always in my tool box), and clean it up before your get all connectors in;* E/ Y: n4 s, a' r" z7 b$ h+ i2 w
4. Use your level's magnetic side to collect all steel chips;; Y- Q( R% j" y, l/ E6 t& ~
5. Use duct tape to get rid of all small chips;- ]; f9 I% R# Z5 I5 w1 W
6. Use a vacuum if you just have it beside you(a bit too luxury, but why not!).

And another vital important point: DO NOT try to below those chips out! Most likely you will just below your mess everywhere, including your precious eyes.
