A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

The program includes the following elements:

• WHMIS3 Q0 _( b* A' f6 D
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care7 D3 h# ^" f, ?
• Components to improve communication skills

0 b( i6 B% E, L, m• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen! ]# M- g7 F: }$ b
of Canada+ b/ @# n3 ?6 m3 M; ?: c
• have a Social Insurance Number
# b/ t1 r" p, q. k$ L" q4 m• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check3 V0 g; e# x: t U2 C; u2 {
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent
( E1 {- n. z1 I q9 f• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time2 \* N; \$ d$ i2 `0 K5 T
program
6 H) N4 k' U6 s9 T4 o/ o& sParticipants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
Q, j0 o0 K0 P" W. B8 C7 g, Rthe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course2 ~- V8 U! Y* u1 n q# }
• meet the financial eligibility criteria
