2 \1 ?5 M3 R( f1 e4 P" ?1 tAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. + M4 f! P- `5 [/ y
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
; E) _+ L1 ^8 P/ n8 c: s, R$ ~% b9 }Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
0 f; M8 k9 Y: U5 e' N" S2 F6 @0 w( dCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
5 E( K! d+ Z1 I; YPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
1 k% o: g# a0 r% L) e; @Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. $ v/ e: e* O( {! g) P2 W/ e
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
* G( c* v9 N1 C' M4 Y5 jAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
- k9 P& ?% j. w \# zAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. P, z ^# u4 g
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. . h* U5 n" v7 q% U& i4 [: [
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
# E* N# \ ^8 V# R$ ~ Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
( e; x2 q! g7 _• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered." T: V3 n: C X/ d
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
" f* T3 J% ]. ?& S• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.0 c" s& l- R$ O7 j7 g" _, r
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.7 \* { {( D5 x/ Z
