& C" ~, e; S( S* g9 X; PThe City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:

( R. A! N# v( |6 I9 x \6 K4 TThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw . H: j( {* J" V8 y
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw
' g( B; e) b) a/ c: bThat has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act
$ M/ z" g, j! K& e+ H8 Q) OCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club $ n6 c6 j, j$ y; q; `* K
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club , d8 q' q* k$ b
Note: The restricted dog definition does NOT include any dog that is registered, or eligible for registration, with the Canadian Kennel Club as a purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier.
