crude prices improves. This implies also to good names such as Shell, $ I5 a! I$ X/ k. z$ P2 Q+ Z
EXXON, BG, BP, Cheveron ....xyz.. oils : [( p3 \/ X" i
, J k4 ?( P. }8 ]4 eRecently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
5 r, b1 l* {& u3 g, P; J; Cmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. & n0 V4 t Y) b4 |0 c5 O! e
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at # s$ x l" C( J: z; A; @2 X
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

$ C# }' t7 D/ k4 M9 PThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face % M, I0 B) {7 J7 V& g/ ~. A
of so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and 8 {6 L$ n) {5 d
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than ! Z( f% }9 \6 M H h
Arabia.

! C0 e c* z) B+ c1 k' b) W* _* F2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. 0 U, e" V( ^8 ~( H- \4 l
This is the largest find in North America.

3. New methods of injecting CO2 and surfactants into oil wells is

4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio

* n3 _5 z4 L$ O5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants

" B- l/ y3 V) x7 p4 dcattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat
- f/ W3 ^- @, zto bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is - C O& ~/ U" T7 t- d- q
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

# _2 K7 P8 \1 M( u6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and ( b- Q6 N' |% \6 C+ L& G* G
construction around the world at this time. Several hundred more are

will replace oil.

# x( s5 G1 `, s* E7 e; B: o d& bAirlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- 4 o7 D$ u' ^1 }
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas

& H p, Q# R- T; T9 q+ {5 i3 Eoil. 4 {! O& t+ V; e/ K( p$ q4 L# O

/ ^ G! a3 t K& o5 O7 v4 C( Y9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 9 ~# k: J, M& p! O) J* l" Q0 U& N; E
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into
( o- G# h; b3 {3 M# D4 d! t, Hoil wells. - q% ]3 C% x# d, K1 I- E6 ^

* X# R9 l: m" S! ]/ d10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy 8 }( C S* L, L# N
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world

performed OIL companies and probably they are yet to get the justified
