The Alberta government, already suffering from declining oil revenue, is now facing a dip in tobacco revenue.% g( [( \% {& e5 R/ O
- M' i7 ^' S* i0 B& u4 t5 cFigures from the quarterly fiscal update show a six percent drop sucking away $50 million dollars from initial budget projections.

Angeline Webb, a Cancer Control Analyst for the Canadian Cancer Society, says "it appears that the Tobacco Reduction Act is having the desired effect."- E- p' T& D5 w% }
