Edmonton — Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman was found dead in a west-end apartment yesterday morning.

, ?9 H! }8 T7 w, S/ z$ CAmbulance personnel were called to the building at 9023 184 St. at around 4:20 a.m., found the body of a 50-year-old woman inside one of the suites, and called police.

- g& M- q/ [: H. SInvestigators have not released the cause of death, but are calling the death suspicious.

Yellow police tape surrounded the entrance to the eight-unit, three-storey tall building as tight-lipped EPS officers walked in and out of the home throughout the day.

“My granddaughter is 20 and is scared to go out,” Joan Harvey said while visiting her relative yesterday afternoon. “I’m scared for her.”
