有没有谁知道爱城有没有安装卫星电视的.就是那种一次性付款安装好以后可以看很多包括美国,加拿大和中文电视的那种?

How much is your receiver? about $400? some websites sell it cheaper, which is around 320, but I am not sure of their credibility.

Have you found someone? if not, I can recommend a person who is good at this and does charge much.

i sell it for $550 plus LNB, The 18" dish , the receiver , hdmi cable , component cable , coxaial cable , usb drive , optical cable plus the software u need .....

Why not?
If the condo is yours, not somebody else's property, you surely can install it.
By the way, the guy here offers a reasonable price. but if you are interested, i can tell you another guy who does the same job, you can compare. But he does not speak Madarin or Contonese at all.

Thanks man! However that is probably the problem since the condo is not mine:). not sure if guys do that to rentals

How long do you plan to live there? If for over two years, it is totally worth the investment.

You can ask the manager if you are allowed to install a dish in the roof or some where.

But even if you are not allowed, there is still an option available. To use a tripod. Put the tripod whereever it is safe and secure, such as the the balcony or even the outside of your window. I noticed that there is a guy using a chair holding a dish in front of his yard. It should be safe. There are not many vandals here.
