有一个关于SIN的问题,想请教

我是国际学生,来这里半年了
总觉得没有SIN很不方便,可一直不知道该怎么申请
有人和我说得找了工作才会有SIN,可找工作的时候他们又总像你要SIN,我都被搞糊涂了,到底是先有SIN,再有工作,还是先有工作了,才有SIN.
有人愿意帮忙解释一下吗,谢谢了
如能介绍一下怎么申请SIN,那就更感谢了

Ok, let me say something here

We cannot apply Social number unless you have a job. If the boss accepted you and asked you to come and work for him or her, he or her might write a letter for Canadian Government. This letter means you are an employee in this company, and boss has already hired you. Then you take this letter and go to Canada Place to apply for sin Card. Sin card does not make sence without work. When you plan to work and do tax return , it is necessary. ALthought you will see many place and asked for your social number when you fill some form or applications, it is not necessay. So do not worry.

I suggest International students do not work too much unless your parents cannot support you anymore or you really want to get some experices.

Some students do not like to study and their parents asked them to have to study. If they do not perfer, how can they do well. So such as these students, I advised them to go to work and tasted real life in a society. You think you are a richman, you can spend it everyday without thinking. That is totally wrong. Right now You are spending the money from your parents, not yours. So if you really love your parents, you should do some jobs and save some money. of Courese, I do not mean you need to work it immidiately, just think about it which position you are in, and then make a wise choice.

我主要是想替父母减轻一点负担,虽然他们总说能供得起我在这边的花费,可我知道,他们很累的,毕竟人民币不像加元那么值钱啊~~
我去找工作,然后向他们要一张LETTER,拿去CANADA PLACE,就可以了吗?
大概要多久能下得来??
我另外还有个问题,就是我没有WORK PERMIT,这有没有关系啊?

没有work permit不可以工作，除非在校园内，不过前提也是你的study permit上有说明

说句实在的，你不如专心于学习，快点拿到学位，然后再好好找工作。花太多的时间在别的事情上其实并非你父母的初衷，更非他们的期盼。再者，据我所知，你不能打工并非SIN卡方面的事情，而是加国法律不允许外国学生随便打工。

恩,说的也有道理,不过我已经上的是 NAIT 的 FULL-TIME 的课了,就是全天上的那种,好象不可能再多加课了,等毕业了那也得两年后了呀
我主要问题是暑假四个月不回国,觉得不打工的话，挺浪费时间的

我也是刚申请了SIN不久，来了半年多，FULL TIME 不够六个月，不符合办off campus的资格，但是我的老板给我开信了，我就试着去了几次申请了下来，没用work permit，canada place 里有的人松些有的人很教条，所以如果你坚持想申请下来的话，不妨拿着你的雇主信去试试。我也是拿着student permit办下来的。

还有就是你拿着你的雇主信去了之后，如果他给你办的话当场你就有了NUMBER，也就是说你就可以合法打工了，sin卡在那是就已经生效了，你只要在等一个星期左右就能收到sin 卡了(他说是五个工作日)。

告诉你雇主信一定要包括的内容：
1: state the job offered and the fact that the student has accepted this offer;
2: clearly identify the company(e.g ., be on letterhead);
3: indicate the start and the end dates of employment (within the date on the current student permit);
4: contain the employer's name and telephone number;
5: be sighed by both employer and the syudent.
记得一定要有你的签名，而且是雇主信了给你标明了专门的签字地方才可以。
