We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

Duties:% d! S8 y' L% }4 h8 T+ N* w
• Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
* J6 h3 E$ P- ]- j/ Y0 H/ \# K• Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.1 l6 C. f+ j! z# U1 n
• Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.- Y+ g$ k D% z9 \) R0 ]
• Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.3 t& ?6 F& _: w5 I4 v) R3 E
) c3 G! R. M9 u/ z' o: e8 I" ^
Requirements:
, T9 U1 s- D+ `; D z2 h! l0 G• Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.- O9 v- v) M6 e ]# D
• Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.+ p; Y" }1 j. c7 J8 h: z
• Degree in the area of human services;4 Z% Q! m2 x$ J# T8 P% F
• Able to travel extensively ;8 @/ n4 P" C: G' y+ L
• Able to work in a team as well as independently;! C, J% W9 y1 E `
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;: G5 F4 ` q4 F" D
• Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
# K' P2 W! Z1 |* R4 J• Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
