The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

# Q! B8 [" o( j3 H  S3 gDuties:
  b, f/ O" k8 O•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
+ S0 S+ Y! K, m' \2 N# E6 P3 O•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
5 R/ u8 c; M5 r: h% c* `/ r•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
" j( W9 O( a2 m' m* k+ Q9 g•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

' F1 B9 a# d; V4 ?/ SRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
- q* M/ ^/ z* f! h•        Degree in the area of human services;
' K1 B6 i1 f% E7 t* ~- \•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
& x- ?: y: k: h/ K•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
