The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
/ L+ N8 j% F7 ?: w. v$ }•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
7 f5 B0 l& _8 t8 @$ S) V•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
* [9 U  L! [5 U1 t) K. z% ]5 Y•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
2 s, P, O8 b, y2 M# \7 R•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

+ G$ U8 I, I1 p7 G. n8 Q6 T5 s•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
( D' R& n- c$ p1 R* L8 ]" y•        Degree in the area of human services;
; Y3 u- V) c/ L2 a* o6 J! b•        Able to travel extensively ;
- l$ `8 A: R/ [( i/ O" ~•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
& b1 k* N3 ?; j  _# I" S•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
* j$ J% k3 ?: d' L# j. x•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
