 What to do if you are in a car accident

cannot be moved, turn on the hazard lights. Turn off the8 F5 Y( Q! Y8 w6 |
ignition. Be careful when exiting your car.

& y+ w- H+ T( N8 g7 w& C* SStep2. Determine if anyone is injured. Do not move an injured person.

Report any injuries.

Step4. If another vehicle is involved, get the car’s year, make, model

Step6. Cooperate with the police, but do not admit guilt for the % x! V6 ^0 e M
accident in any way. You may be required to show proof of

Step9. Write an account of what happened: time of day, weather, $ a0 c5 @! p, y$ v
hazards, road conditions and driving speed. Draw a picture of

skid marks and determine the point of impact. Note any damage
