Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

* T4 e0 E. l5 JJob Description – Responsibilities
4 @- R: s+ L( t& E0 n1 I: E+ s6 c•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
7 E1 B5 {6 h- m. F: ?•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
1 d, J2 d2 M6 N•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
9 N! t8 }3 W7 A0 j- o' ?: y•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
/ k) H# s7 g# u" k4 k* J•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
5 y5 H( z# l3 b0 F" r$ Q' ?•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
  w* Z; [3 ?/ P" V•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
; E( [- m+ |4 M6 I•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
# O. i- `* o9 g/ k' V' o•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
! g) [" R4 X; Q+ q•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
; S4 _& n3 c0 A•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
