Position: Youth Services Manager
# j$ N2 G- A& P1 W2 _7 t4 V; ^Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
+ F' D9 ~0 G8 h( R' x! F( S% Z, x- l•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
# b9 t0 |1 N* K•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
' V- p) R0 J1 P4 G- A•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
7 R) C3 A" w% J, t7 z4 j9 ~" I6 K•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
4 ^  Z+ `% z) A8 q6 U8 [+ Y6 N3 _•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
* `0 `) r' V7 M. w•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
3 a% N0 F9 A4 r2 U; k% F( q* ]( R) k! _•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
! b5 b* i" D9 e% N2 e•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
