Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
2 F8 y) x8 m. |4 z& ?) K9 W4 h•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
9 K% W$ x8 P. l/ A& J2 `. R+ l•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
% @7 c' w2 G3 E•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
7 U+ Q, d  s( F. p•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
+ [- o) p4 r5 x, U( \4 c- X4 R2 X6 Q•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
! L6 M! f3 ~; i5 O7 F•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
) [& x- V: q+ X! k9 p# S( G( y•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
" m) Y* g# c; U" a3 S; H•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
4 P! V( z9 H* w/ h7 i! k: q& |•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
