Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

1 A# Z- a7 H, T* G' yJob Description – Responsibilities
, n0 M& O2 K: T- Z7 e7 D•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
, d( Y) {% K+ e0 p1 B•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
0 R4 B' x# o. ?- k+ P•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
. j' v( _1 U; U) S$ _8 o8 ?' e•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
* c: Y, ?' ?& K( t•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
