Position Title: Draftsman

X* |& O+ i5 w* W4 tJob Description/Duties: Working in our Fabrication facility, you will prepare technical drawings for fabrication and field construction through the use of client drawings, specifications and a computer drafting program (Acorn). Specific duties include: inputting engineer drawings into Acorn to create a spool drawing; creating job set up in Acorn as per client specification; preparing drawings for shop fabrication; assisting in checking spools compared to isometrics and orthographics; establishing material, labour and print lists from Acorn to be used in tracking systems; and creating spooling log of revisions for client drawings. & ^5 K: ]7 o7 x
Qualifications: Completion of an engineering technology program in piping or mechanical. Preference will be given to candidates with related experience. : u" j. _$ @& z' ]3 D
