Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant0 G9 t4 }3 S! H. R2 t

Major Responsibilities: e8 L" i/ `2 i9 I) K. L( o- T
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.1 Q2 Z! @7 p2 L7 r$ p" q; V9 n& z
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
6 l+ H( ]1 Y1 {1 j5 ~) j• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. & `; U: z( O( }+ ^ S5 c: R
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.; S/ T/ ?% f$ Z [ R7 @- u& K9 d
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.% Z! j- W7 r- B, v6 j: C
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.' t0 y# r* D" f: {
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., s: X7 E4 H1 Y/ S# x
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.5 Z2 ?* I, q3 K: q# O8 `9 Z8 W! E
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required., T: h2 L7 e" M+ _( r2 U. p
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.4 F# h: t. S& r/ n! \( w V% j
9 U5 P7 x5 ^ kQualifications:: X4 R1 s' F1 D& H9 a9 y7 I+ w' m* u
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
3 ^9 s$ b) x, X$ O1 z) K• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. : C$ W5 Y* l- z3 p2 A
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 9 v" ]# s& R# B& G
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
% Y, V( A8 a! o- M. ^! }! B( m• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
+ @% { T3 e* ^0 S/ y• Not scared of heights" \" J( y- T' w
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other4 p3 O. Z. Q1 z2 z+ Z
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
