Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant" p8 Q' D- @: N) ~
Location: Edmonton

8 ?4 \: v) d/ z9 o8 ]" GMajor Responsibilities:
0 E4 s5 G; k, n6 X• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
3 v d6 C' l( w& X) M• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
4 C3 w4 O A' Q• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
# }1 \# [3 ?2 l+ k9 W• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office., p" X C8 p8 k2 R+ u
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
9 o6 I1 z0 i, U& P• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
3 O' F0 O( r" K6 N/ h8 o/ f• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
2 `+ W+ P t/ l' d( f• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
7 ~3 F9 k/ k7 }$ V/ \0 K; m2 Z• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.$ p1 W$ _& M; f% t6 C
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
6 m7 I& l; E3 j• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.7 q! b- d" }7 t: T7 ]8 Q! C
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.: q' h( F! N* J: `4 F: r: k( G _6 i* U
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.6 L* d0 C5 G( ?5 J' E. r9 t! l

Qualifications:
: u* c5 Z* K) z4 Z• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
4 t S! t: d' {6 y• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
w6 [5 Y8 {5 W: D. |• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
8 l. a, d( y: }7 a- p( B• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 3 k% k2 p2 s% k' r k& _' G5 a$ @
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential, N5 j# e" J" i' g; W8 j
• Not scared of heights
; L8 G5 K# y( J2 Z/ K: d7 |• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other( p6 R+ e, q! K% I0 A$ Z6 R
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. . i+ @! g8 n* O5 b
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.* z) t7 G- G, p k2 z& b
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
