Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: ( N* w* o5 K; z, U/ s# f0 M
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# ?9 V( X* _# \
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 T: y, A' F8 O/ [! U
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 2 j5 y$ n8 G) J# m
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
) m3 V" B8 d \" C; [1 q! j; j9 [5 p• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
6 ~: i: w8 n; R• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
% I! a5 ?! u7 N9 m1 ~4 q• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas., O) T0 @6 k0 e3 _8 r4 U$ d
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
/ x% x. ]' G5 j: K% |5 [• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.2 A7 o |; z: P0 f6 M
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.9 ? X' M X+ B5 Y: @' v; A
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.- Z/ |$ @% i' p4 I* V, W' A- a; U
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
% F% j5 j4 G9 a: T7 k5 Z3 b• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:, i& h& w7 }9 I5 k( q. r
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 3 p, u6 h7 m4 l# e1 {" u& J
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
1 P9 y" [6 L3 [1 H1 Y) J3 ?* w0 ~• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
2 b& K- P: z; r• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
. n8 X8 M4 k. m' z% v3 S7 N) R' S• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential, Z0 j/ b- \2 k! J5 u
• Not scared of heights
8 t: \) _2 a- H' A• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
& n, ]+ q8 @ J% M6 W- C' z" I• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
