Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

+ p' Z0 N/ C2 b) _$ u& H6 `8 A6 I4 _Major Responsibilities:
3 `0 p1 N3 @$ w3 B# G% e' O• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.+ }1 D: P+ A& ^4 H, F
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.8 a; V$ O% F, U; Z7 a% W
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
, u/ ?8 M+ F s• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
/ {$ d/ q2 S6 X, ~• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' \$ Z& `. o, ?6 F7 I
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area., k) v+ _; `' w( H8 b; U
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
4 p# \! R" B( h }! l. y4 @• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.# N0 W6 R: L& I7 w
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
8 P1 M+ ~7 w. z0 ~. ]9 ]/ u• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
" l' s2 d/ N; L# T: e0 t) _• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ Q4 Z0 ]+ o. B: n' ]
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
# c2 r% d/ y+ Y9 x1 `• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
; v) X& o3 u/ s6 \* Q" g• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. & H9 d* j0 a0 V* U7 j
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. T6 ]" e/ }+ T% }3 z, G
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 O1 R# F) j& P6 }" U6 R0 z* [( }* X• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
( K2 t7 A( B3 i3 t% t5 k4 w• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
6 K& `% I6 D5 H8 \( d* _• Not scared of heights
. W$ x' W0 n$ Q- l• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other5 m% }; t) B( T; f* X
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. $ U. A% s5 d1 X7 Y0 f* Y
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.: O* l# f) ?& C/ [* R5 D& n! Z6 C
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
