Position: Position: Administrative Assistant, Member Relations & Communications / Salary: Competitive / Closing date: September 25, 2008.

Abstract: reporting to the Manager, Member Relations & Communications, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Member Relations & Communications Team through timely distribution of materials and merchandise, support in event registrations, onsite event assistance, database maintenance, invoice maintenance, and reception relief.

: X* m5 s  j* O+ WKey duties include: Volunteer Program; coordinate kits for volunteers; manage lists of potential volunteers/updating Dbase; provide administrative support (logistic for meetings, agendas, minutes and distributing materials) for various committees and; coordinate targeted mailings.

Recognition Portfolio: manage lists of targeted individuals/update Dbase; assist with assembling materials for nominations for community awards and coordinate targeted mailings.

Spot light Magazine/Invoicing: receive/organize invoices for various activities; coordinate invoicing process and organize filing system for invoices.

% o' I; Z" q% [4 G- U, j8 dQualifications: a diploma in office administration combined with some work experience. Additional administrative experience will be considered in lieu of formal post secondary education.

* j! C* g  J* x  B- n9 H* z* P3 qThe successful candidate will be knowledgeable and have experience with a variety of software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet.
