Position: Position: Administrative Assistant, Member Relations & Communications / Salary: Competitive / Closing date: September 25, 2008.

9 T! p& a. r1 |0 x$ n, y9 tAbstract: reporting to the Manager, Member Relations & Communications, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Member Relations & Communications Team through timely distribution of materials and merchandise, support in event registrations, onsite event assistance, database maintenance, invoice maintenance, and reception relief. , ]1 a+ ?1 F, z' @6 t6 |3 {

Key duties include: Volunteer Program; coordinate kits for volunteers; manage lists of potential volunteers/updating Dbase; provide administrative support (logistic for meetings, agendas, minutes and distributing materials) for various committees and; coordinate targeted mailings. 0 x! q& V3 i3 P8 c& u

Recognition Portfolio: manage lists of targeted individuals/update Dbase; assist with assembling materials for nominations for community awards and coordinate targeted mailings.

General Support: assists onsite with events; provide reception relief; coordinate kits for staff, new members & transitional CAs; receive, organize and maintain communication materials/photos.

' R0 F1 l5 b% CQualifications: a diploma in office administration combined with some work experience. Additional administrative experience will be considered in lieu of formal post secondary education. / z4 p7 e3 z; Q- P. X2 {% d7 t; r1 K

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and have experience with a variety of software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet. In addition good oral, written, interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work within a team setting are required.$ I- p' Z0 p/ S1 X" _
