0 ~1 g/ A, q9 }: ~, ]1 x7 Y v * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program# m' F% k1 }3 y) f$ \
* Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
" t& Y( }9 Z8 a* d * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes) Q+ P3 N' F* @, j, M# W
* Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat8 D. i/ X% x; X7 B. t
* Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
# p4 t8 [/ D- {, S" X * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
& h! k8 {7 b2 N * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
% U1 R& j1 }4 H, N/ H7 Q+ z * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
' ]- }9 R2 y4 g& e" {$ F * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning- n6 p; w2 g( C, ^* N# y7 a
* Develops high quality promotional and educational materials

* Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
! {* a/ D# h. Y) ]. K * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies1 F3 m; ]: g5 u6 ^# w/ l

Qualifications
* v* }' v, ~) [( D" [& g1 e/ i% n* P. e
* Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
$ M5 O0 K* ^# [4 s& a9 L7 ?, a * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
2 E! B" P- A9 z& }$ f% J0 O" c, j. o * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset8 d4 Y5 m& Z8 N# _8 ~0 a- V- Q
* Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
3 d3 }( G6 V) Q5 n * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
9 q, R! k! M) } H9 R" ^1 U, N5 S; r * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning7 |3 ^4 d& P8 o
* Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
