Position: Youth Services Coordinator

Responsibilities
# |5 ]2 W! |% [7 e3 ]o Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program* P. g4 G. L Z
o Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
0 X' T% g" X- I/ ro Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
. {9 P# }' ?4 O! Q' zo Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
+ M' N4 W8 G' i: |o Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program. f$ U8 L; H4 I6 k: O7 a+ x
o Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising$ m- V& c% ]9 g; p, X
o Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
3 Q' f. U; ~3 s% ^! W" j; k" g/ go Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre3 q3 G) N) Q% W/ e& Y; z- B
o Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues

o Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications% p/ b9 q$ c- E1 b9 f
o Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience2 D* X" ^) L* z* c) G: T
o Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
2 o9 o# W5 z$ K$ B9 [" D! X5 ^o Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset7 i5 r( u6 I* T9 } {& |
o Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills" G: G$ `3 t+ c' [
o Willingness to learn+ {: F. [8 C; m1 j# I, R
