Police warn women about Garneau sex assaults

6 ? H* @3 G1 D4 e- Q: i: gEDMONTON - Edmonton police are warning women in the Garneau area after three women were attacked and sexually assaulted while they slept in their homes.+ c1 G% Y0 v% Y) G# t4 _
) W1 Z6 |9 k3 S, F8 [6 VThe first attack was in February when a man broke into a home on 111th Street and 81st Avenue in the early morning and sexually assaulted a 24-year old woman. A man returned to the same residence earlier this month between midnight and 6 a.m. and sexually assaulted a 47-year-old woman, police said.

The most recent attack occurred last weekend when a man broke into a house at 111th Street and 80th Avenue. He pepper-sprayed and assaulted a 21-year-old woman.
