8 o D/ l8 R' o7 k0 b" jForeign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel says a plane is on the way to southern China carrying clothing, medical supplies, generators and tents for victims of the May 12 earthquake.

Mekel estimated the shipment was worth US$1.5 million and said it was due to arrive in China later today.
