When we were the Sick Man of Asia, We were called The Yellow Peril.
When we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are called The Threat.
+ |/ ?+ x, L* o' t) c+ qWhen we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our open markets.
) M$ \9 d+ a8 f; B, k3 R4 o% DWhen we embrace Free Trade, You blame us for taking away your jobs.
When we were falling apart, You marched in your troops and took what you wanted.
: z9 N" l3 z! b' u, eWhen we tried to put the broken pieces back together again, Free Tibet you screamed, It Was an Invasion!
When we tried Communism, you hated us for being Communist.
- K! R2 M+ K/ O% E$ YWhen we embrace Capitalism, you ridicule us for being Capitalist.
( \3 c, c) F9 B; fWhen we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet.
When we tried limiting our numbers, you said we abused human rights.
: [7 j8 u* B/ z, xWhen we were poor, you thought we were dogs.
When we loan you cash, you blame us for your national debt. When we build our industries, you call us Polluters.
( t" e# {. U7 r+ o8 |* ]When we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.
When we buy oil, you call it exploitation and genocide.
: E# I2 q" ?& F, gWhen you go to war for oil, you call it liberation.
When we were lost in chaos and rampage, you demanded rules of law.
1 Q+ u2 X9 b/ B/ v1 K' xWhen we uphold law and order against violence, you call it violating human rights.
# V: Y' ^: V0 L+ |9 g4 sWhen we were silent, you said you wanted us to have free speech.
When we are silent no more, you say we are brainwashed-xenophobics.
  H8 x3 {& }7 O8 V4 q0 ?Why do you hate us so much, we asked.No, you answered, we don't hate you.
We don't hate you either.

Of course we do, you said,
4 R. V' @( @' m7 q$ s4 `& }We have AFP, CNN and BBC's

: ~; O4 z. H# eWhat do you really want from us?
; ~4 i; }4 P6 |* d: G- ?% M" J0 i% YThink hard first, then answer...
Because you only get so many chances.

1 d; J9 j3 Z0 a, H* T* W6 kWe want One World, One Dream, and Peace on Earth.
This Big Blue Earth is Big Enough for all of Us.
