The CSSA is organizing a trip to Vancouver and Victoria during the reading week (April 27 - May 2).

Here is some more information. We just finished negotiating the price with the travel company. The original price they are asking was $540 per person, but now they are willing to give a lower price to CSSA members. Non-CSSA members will be charged at the original price.

Price = $510 for CSSA-member (two people / room with 2 double beds)
$ {( X( k$ _. V4 j+ P% m! i$ p
= $490 for CSSA-member (three people / room with 2 people stay in one bed.)
This price includes:
4 ?' P3 k/ U  i3 V  M- The transportation = Huge Travel Bus, includes gas costs and the driver for 6 days.
8 l/ Y: J. S+ U! a: f- 3 Star Hotel = 5 nights


5 D2 B3 [( T& ]7 W- 5 breakfasts and 2 dinners
' E7 ^, `. C: Y6 X- All the admission tickets for sight seeing (e.g. the Butcher Garden in Victoria etc.)
- Bus Parking
3 d, ]$ j) ^: y  p- The return Boat fare to Victoria
5 h9 v- i$ M6 m0 ~# O. P- A Tour Guide from Vancouver

And in Vancouver, the Tour Guide and the Driver will collect $20 per person for tips. We tried to negotiate down, but there is no way they’ll accept our proposal. This is an extra cost in Vancouver.
