Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers6 t* ]% \$ F: `! H
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
! k) |4 B1 A2 R# N( |8 E, xWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff( `7 N+ P; G" o
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System

Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
6 k; G0 z/ H3 GRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. w2 f- V0 V \0 w d
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations5 h- x+ F$ @/ g, P2 C3 p
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
