Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
! h. l' v7 m8 K: `! @6 h; KResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
! k) |4 B1 A2 R# N( |8 E, xWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System

Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
3 H' F+ L! N' L( n0 h1 ^* u# rDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
6 k; G0 z/ H3 GRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
