Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele! P) W2 N/ z# K
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
1 G* M& u% B* B+ ZResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
) c( A* C! ^: u. aProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support% I; Z/ r1 h8 _8 p6 ~
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
) H+ O! i3 E$ u% E J4 sEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
$ J- e3 x2 ]: @5 `" u* wDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP5 ~$ s0 l6 H9 G; @+ `$ i9 X
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

; W. G- J! A: kTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program

Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
( {+ }* |8 @" G: AExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
