Are you an immigrant woman who:

; X" W, b6 w: e% l) z: e0 y-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

4 ]. O, v5 W0 TCounseling to help you find what is right for you.
Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
) i& v, h# W% S8 M  YOpportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
' L$ L+ P+ y: ^, SInformation about community agencies and services.
( Q& Y+ q6 a1 w/ \Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
