-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

* K) J; _+ E& |6 {; W8 X, z" wCounseling to help you find what is right for you.
Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
( d& D) n* v5 rOpportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
. Q% c/ ~( a5 KInformation about community agencies and services.
Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
8 `& P# M, {8 W3 H* @' LContinued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
