Are you an immigrant woman who:

3 W0 e9 T# I+ P-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
& K" f; {  W- c( q6 b# ~1 C5 _-  has taken an English language assessment test?
6 W& ~1 y$ }9 r; ?3 G' X-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

8 M* _& P7 f: A* b7 QIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

. Q  S$ ?  E7 Q" t# kMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
: Y& r$ T! k# fOpportunity to develop your English Language skills.
Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
0 O: K, |. Q9 r1 P. M0 e- w. |( pInformation about community agencies and services.
+ W( a3 N( d" C7 O$ FInformation about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
% c! a6 N3 p( F0 b. QContinued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.

这个培训班的确不错，我参加过，不过只能是移民妇女而且要会英语才能参加。华人社区服务中心有免费的求职培训班是给所有移民的，同样是英文授课，但有国语翻译，特别适合中国移民，欢迎致电429-3111报名。另外，为了方便那些无法白天参加培训的人，我们5月份开设为期两周的晚间课程，如果你白天晚上都无法参加，可以报名我们的周末求职讲座，查询请联络JANE。

没错，华人服务社区的讲座针对华人找工作更有帮助，毕竟我们都是相同背景。CHANGING TOGETHER只是针对移民妇女，全英文授课，不过我是因为CHANGING TOGETHER提供免费的DAYCARE才可以参加的。大家可以针对自己的情况，选择适合您的课程。祝愿在您的求职之路上，能够有所帮助。
