- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team3 p5 S: p7 j' p# ~

Qualifications:

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
k) C! Y" f& P" h) _- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
9 T5 _- \3 u" p0 u- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
& o0 E1 K! I5 {8 t1 _* _# p9 l- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies; h: p+ G. s. m( B
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members; t5 @8 g. k# l4 T: w! v' N
- update ASSIST website
" ]& Q8 o: J; ?6 G& B- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre+ H, |. Q3 M4 l! t3 S. h/ h
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services5 }" M% y( W& u3 w4 ?
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
1 g4 d L' d4 a$ a5 C9 L- write quarterly and final reports for ISP x# p5 [$ O+ n, ~! q! w
- hold regular meetings with ISP team
' w9 y/ O. {5 G; n4 g- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education / P E# }. {0 ]
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
; J4 e \8 ?2 A0 {7 T8 q( W; _) ^- experience in community work and immigrant services) B0 M7 k2 k. J9 W! }# g7 c
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
