- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.) J* T1 o; F( z2 d. `) F
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker

- customer service and office clerical experiences S$ t5 ~9 u. T- [
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

" z C" x+ y7 Q% r, H7 ?, C, q$ V" w- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community- \$ w1 s) y9 |+ b3 {
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services+ G. H) _ h8 `) \$ g
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
& b1 v: x, r4 i$ i a/ u% R4 ^3 b- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
/ w) K5 m2 J2 l. K- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members# p$ Q$ g7 d2 ]1 ]0 A6 }& Y9 Z
- update ASSIST website
! T# s0 G9 Z- M3 i- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
4 z4 c1 o s! n5 m% p- m% E1 m% l- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services' _9 {- \1 z- X3 j
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
9 [* V4 P) I, }+ a! ^1 B- y- write quarterly and final reports for ISP$ i% X/ L# Y1 e ?9 d
- hold regular meetings with ISP team
) ` p& }* P3 f- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time
: y7 j0 g+ c# } y% b7 z- update membership database( B S+ g+ A, s# a
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

" r B+ A% i) T: B1 s- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 0 h5 D8 x& L2 m6 @
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills( j9 J) d" |6 Y( C2 O, B
- experience in community work and immigrant services
i8 P1 e& h/ y+ z& m- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
