Dead car? Block heater and Synthetic Oil

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
5 q9 N9 {6 ?* a& {& `basically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant/radiator, and keep the engine block warm.
5 u0 q9 G' k: p, ^9 N2 W8 j3 eEither way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.
