Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering. 0 A( I% K6 a$ t4 ^4 d H8 E

Skills and Abilities Required
( J4 S& u. H; A$ q3 w. N- |3 zExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.- G6 R2 F* Z. E! m4 w% M
1 O) p l+ ^4 c9 q& oPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

0 ?- f- z; \; s8 _1 vHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.+ k R. a, o0 U+ @, Y

Minimum Qualifications
