Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

5 Q% ~& J$ l2 X: OPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

2 P$ w7 N  }$ s/ l9 [Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

5 G$ k+ K8 {1 A7 H2 XAbility to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
/ v. ~& d, U. n, |Bachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
