ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
+ s, w" B" D7 G" D9 Y9 ~) a5 V8 _recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
, F/ J) k$ J0 {' H6 {strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
5 r* u/ Z- R! L! gobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
' |& B$ l5 _/ `( |$ a9 {# z# xrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
3 `- X" {0 H8 \8 H( A2 bfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
; Z( A( c, H6 f9 e1 Z5 grequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
3 o! e+ p* K* x$ b" a0 @" iis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
2 B4 t' ]: N5 xthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
- G+ T7 e. ^' D. raccurate and complete research records.
