烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:
2 X6 m, M' X: ^/ \• 1/2 cup butter

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none): [0 u/ X- V! }9 `7 T Z3 g2 h) A
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)( i4 i+ G% s# S& N4 h1 f* y
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:
" z j" r* Q9 r/ ZBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
( R, e c h' g# CTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
) l1 `, S' W2 \, ^; V$ ZBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

- Q) e( a( z% z- Y/ r8 [4 K这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
# j/ L0 O9 D1 y) N/ ^* Vbeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
