烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter & U( S X- m m
• 1 cup sugar
4 D5 I0 b9 }' P• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
9 B) |2 U: g" p, m* [6 q/ C• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
! F% |! Y6 U) q* }! C' D• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 g! B/ q0 p$ k' K
• 4 eggs, well beaten

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 5 d7 i- t( u# k, d3 j
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
7 g8 J) U O" l- XBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
