烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1 cup sugar
- x# Q. g" t/ V4 `6 N• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
$ m# a: o( @$ O! n) ^6 B• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
4 h$ U# \ g+ Z' b; Q# M, ?3 V1 H- @• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder , z" B( v5 w, o4 p
• 4 eggs, well beaten

PREPARATION:
. G$ J$ b K9 k( `- j' m$ w6 V! MBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 5 A( Y# S7 g- l2 C5 o1 t
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
; h# q$ ]6 \' y; W1 rBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.2 {1 n: |. }) K: C7 p/ a, m8 T

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
