0 J& P% c" i B/ GThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
1 n" I# k5 W' l) A) v) F of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the! _0 z( H! d1 ?
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese. _7 p4 D* c- g3 V r
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
6 n" E( C8 w; f5 j( S customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on) B3 }" W4 ^6 _
this broad land.
% I; Q2 _0 L1 w! b6 k 4 {( Z: @, r8 ?, n. L4 D( E
We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to! J& x( Q, g1 ]
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and. v4 E( g' |7 x$ N ~: j
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
0 t# T1 u# l# A4 }2 H- L' f* P performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show* K& m9 B5 ?# s1 E r
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
( `" K- _$ h4 u8 P# H Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a/ n) Z$ w) ^! r4 Z) W( N9 u
lot of fun, like what we did before.

. {5 A0 k, ^! cAs far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs* m) B* j$ V+ t: L3 E+ H& C
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
& \( |2 T; Q: ^# |* I% S1 _& L stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any; g( a" f8 X2 w. s8 n% |
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
+ D2 w- `2 g- h% f2 b1 k program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up, a4 J- ? b5 [. k3 P+ X3 j
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since; L- w! p; I/ W T) N, N
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.# L. U2 S! W# z: ?* o% }

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
' ^* k- A- x! ^! W3 K1 U on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system2 C0 c# m" _3 I/ |7 f& Z9 I! v
control.
